food metals detect contaminants detector

A metal detector that detects food metals can detect a variety of metal contaminants as well conductive materials.

These include ferrous and nonferrous metallics and other conductive compounds. Ferrous metals, which contain iron,

are conductive. However, some are composed of carbon and other elements that are combined with iron.

All of the various steel types are considered ferrous metals. Ferrous metals are magnetic and more likely to rust that nonferrous.

Nonferrous Metals are made of other elements, such as aluminum, copper or nickel, tin (brass), zinc, and brass.

The detection of stainless steel is possible, although with varying degrees of sensitivity according to its specific composition.

Inline metal detections can detect any of these types. The amount of each metal required to trigger detection will depend on its

conductivity, the conductivity, and the size of any product being inspected. Inline metal detectors are able to detect some

metal particles that can be highly conductive.
